All of our members create a friendly atmosphere for all other members and newcomers. The clubhouse is an area to chat with other shooters about the sport, the competitions or life in general over a cup of tea in front of the fire during the winter months.

Club members shoot both in teams and as individuals in local, regional and national leagues and other competitions. Currently, four of our members shoot in the Herefordshire county team and we are proud to have Welsh, English and Great Britain Internationals within our membership

The majority of our members have a good number of years shooting behind them and are always more than willing to share their knowledge. Our Chairman, who is a qualified coach is always pleased to assist new members to reach the standard required to compete in club competitions or indeed at county level

Based on the edge of Bromyard, Herefordshire our club offers a warm welcome to those who enjoy shooting small bore (.22 calibre) cartridge target rifle, air rifle or air pistol.

What we can offer

Our NSRA approved facilities make us one of the major centres for small bore rifle shooting in the Midlands. We regularly host open competitions organised by county rifle associations and clubs. We have also hosted annual matches between Wales and the UK Police rifle team. The West Midlands Regional Training Squad make regular use of our facilities, as do several other rifle clubs in the area who do not have their own outdoor ranges.

The Range

We have both indoor and outdoor ranges with the outdoor range having covered firing points which protect shooters from the occasional shower. The outdoor range enables prone shooters to shoot at either 50m or 100yds against raised backstops. The indoor range allows prone shooters to shoot at 20yds and standing 10m air pistol and rifle. The indoor range does also allow LSR shooting but strictly only using .177 or .22 air rifles.

Once you have become a full member then we allow 24/7 access to the range with the proviso that there always are 2 people or more at the range. Our regular club nights are Tuesday night for .22 prone shooting and air weapons on a Wednesday night. If you are thinking of joining the club then please contact us first and we will arrange for you to visit the club on our Tuesday evening club night. Junior members, aged up to 18 years, are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian
